Gap Insurance
This is an option you can have in addition to collision insurance. In the event of a total loss, this policy pays the difference between the outstanding loan amount and the actual cash value.
- Pays the deductible up to $1,000 and a deficiency balance of up to $50,000.
- Protects your investment by clearing the loan balance, allowing you to start fresh with a new vehicle purchase.
- It is cancel-able and refundable, you can receive a prorated sum if you trade or sell your vehicle.

VSC
This insurance covers you from loss due to mechanical failure. It pays for parts and labor on covered services–think of it as mechanical insurance!
- We have coverage options to fit your needs.
- Good anywhere in the U.S., if you are more than 50 miles from a Kornerstone dealership, the vehicle can be taken to an authorized franchise dealership or ASE certified shop.
- Includes rental car coverage – $30/day for up to 5 days.
- Repairs can be made when needed, not when you can afford them.
Autoshield
This coverage includes two parts.
- Part 1: Fully Managed Identity Theft Recovery Service.
- If your identity is compromised in any way, you will receive a personal recovery advocate who will do all the legwork to recover your identity, no matter the time it takes.
- Includes a fraud recovery package with fraud alerts on all three credit bureaus to stop any compromise.
Monitoring for 12 months after identity/credit has been restored. - ETCH
- All windows are etched with a unique number for your vehicle, making it less likely to be stolen.
- You receive a $3,000 cash benefit to use as you please if your car is stolen and declared a total loss. Plus an additional $2,000 cash benefit if you return to any Kornerstone dealership.
